Detection of Plasma Membrane Alpha Enolase (ENO1) and Its Relationship with Sperm Quality of Bali Cattle

Bali cattle are the indigenous well known attributed to their high fertility. Various proteomes in sperm substances that can determine quality and One of which is alpha enolase (ENO1). This study aims assess presence ENO1 plasma membrane its relationship with semen cattle. The used 30 ejaculates from 5 bulls for assessment detection ENO1. Sperm indicated by total motility, progressive kinematics viability, integrity, quantity. motility were measured using CASA, while viability was assessed eosin-nigrosine differential staining. HOS test quantity ELISA method. Data analyzed ANOVA (randomized group design), linear regression, Pearson’s correction, t-Student test. results showed detected at 1.27 ng/106 sperms. amount alpha-enolase affected concentration (p<0.01) not involved motility.
